Why not…
Woken by the light coming through my window.
Kindle gray has been subdued.
Not defeated.
On this day.
Simba, my furball, gazing out the window.
Me…
Like every morning before sitting in my blue chair.
Half-eaten seeds on the carpet.
Not many.
But a few.
Growing up, I was never much of a reader.
I’d read the first chapter…
The middle chapter…
The last chapter…
And the synopsis.
😂
Enough to do the book reports.
But one book caught me.
Dracula.
It was vivid.
It felt as if He were in my closet, waiting for me to sleep.
A sequel for this would be odd for most.
But for me…
I would love to know more about the beginnings of Dracula.
The intimate moments between the kills.
Maybe standing in the darkness.
Eyes glowing.
A puff of air lingering.
A light hiss…
Dracula.
