To Every Roberto Before Me ⏳🧑‍🚀

The timeline of my life contains a multitude of iterations of Roberto, each one leading to the person I am today.

When I look back, I often wish I had adjusted some decisions slightly and made others completely differently.

I imagine those changes leading to another future—a future where I wouldn’t feel sadness over wasted time or feel inept because of where I arrived.

But when I look back now, I see that those earlier versions of me do not need the disappointment of present-day Roberto.

They need grace.

They need a thank-you.

Each version made decisions with what he knew, what he feared, and what he had available at the time. Each one carried something forward so the next Roberto could exist.

So, what is one thing I wish I had started doing earlier in life?

Thanking the person I used to be.

Thank you.

Enjoy your cup of coffee. ☕️
