Sore.
But rested.
Did some push-ups last night.
Gave Simba his medication and food.
Coffee brewing.
I’m sitting here in an old dress shirt with paint splashes on it from years ago.
And I started thinking about simple pleasures.
Mine is this:
Nobody talking to me.
No urgency.
No notifications.
No noise.
Just silence.
Closing my eyes…
hearing the wind…
and that faint ringing in your ears that only shows up when everything is completely still.
Sometimes I even try to stop thinking for a second.
Disconnect from everything.
Like a small reboot.
And honestly…
that feels like peace to me.
