I can reduce clutter in my life by listening to negativity less… and by not sitting in it like it’s a warm comfy blanket with hot tea next to me.
Because the reality is: you define yourself by your actions.
So I’m trying to treat negative thinking like the volume button on a remote. I can’t always stop the noise from showing up, but I can turn it down—lower the volume—and keep moving.
And effort matters. Effort compounded in small drips, daily, is like mopping the floor with a little water at a time. Little by little it gets clean.
Or… maybe I just make a big old mess. 😂 Either way, I’m learning: doing beats spiraling.
Question: What’s one “volume knob” thought you need to turn down this week?
