My furballā¦
his name is Simba.
He walked up the driveway one day as a kitten.
My then-girlfriend and I took him in because we were going to take him to the local animal shelter.
But then we heard that cats often get euthanized.
Soā¦
change of plans.
His average day goes something like thisā¦
He wakes up around 6 a.m. asking for food.
Meowā¦
Then later in the eveningā¦
another meowā¦
because he wants to go outside.
So I put his leash onā¦
and we go for a walk.
Soā¦
what does he do for me?
It seems like I do more for him.
Wellā¦
maybe not.
Heās seen me sad.
Depressed.
Heartbroken.
Stressed.
And every single timeā¦
it was nice to have company.
Heād quietly walk overā¦
and lay on my lap.
He is my bud.
Good morning.
Enjoy your cup of coffee.
Iāve got to go brew mineā¦
I woke up a little late.
