“The Bad Guy”

Daily writing prompt
What villain actually had a good point?

June 29, 2026 — 9:47 a.m.

A bit tired…

Haha.

But last night I chose to stay up later.

2:00 a.m.

I was so tired.

I just passed out.

I decided to go for a ride and get a hot chocolate.

Then, when I couldn’t stay awake anymore…

Drove my ass home and knocked out.

I’ve been having a hard time sleeping…

But I still woke up at 6:00 a.m.

Villains are always the worst…

Until they say something that makes you consider:

Are they that bad?

Or are they just a product of their environment trying to survive?

“You need people like me so you can point your fucking fingers and say, ‘That’s the bad guy.’”

— Tony Montana

A room full of rich people eyeing him like a hawk eyes its meal.

Some monsters learn to hide.

Others choose to say,

“I am the bad guy.”

Coffee is done brewing.
