“Let’s Cut a Deal”

Daily writing prompt
Is a little chaos actually good for us?

June 27, 2026 — 7:44 a.m.

Tired…

It seems I’m tired more often.

Life, I guess.

The grayness outside hits like the light from a doctor’s office coming through the opened, ajar door to my right and the window to my left.

Sitting here…

Wanting to have a day where I just sit here and watch TV.

Or anything outside of work.

I’ve been working seven days a week since 2016.

School full-time from 2015–2022.

At the same time.

Waking up every hour on the hour.

Thank you, insomnia.

Go.

Go.

Go.

I am done.

But…

It’s necessary for me to reframe.

School?

Education done.

Savings?

Happening.

Debt?

Gone.

Weight?

Down.

So yes…

It might feel shitty.

Stick with it.

Structure doesn’t care about your feelings.

You do.

But let’s cut a deal…

Deal with it.

Let probability compound.
