“Learning Fun”

Daily writing prompt
What’s something you used to believe as a kid that seems ridiculous now?

June 25, 2026 — 10:34 a.m.

Sitting in my blue chair like every morning.

A moment to myself.

Hello.

Ridiculous.

What a word.

I think I wasn’t ridiculous.

I think I was just lacking information that created different feelings as I grew.

Now, though…

I think I prefer to be ridiculous.

To me it means:

Play.

Have fun.

Explore.

As a kid, I thought becoming an adult would be so much fun because I’d have money.

That hasn’t exactly worked out that way.

Lol.

But I’m glad I thought that way.

Why not?

Sometimes we become so obsessed with getting life right that we forget to enjoy it.

I think now I’m learning something different.

Create systems that help you.

Keep your curiosity.

Keep your creativity.

Maybe that’s what creativity has become for me.

A system that helps me keep moving.

I think…

I’m learning fun.
