My most ideal day from beginning to end?
If I could bring someone back for just 24 hours, that would be it.
My grandmother Consuelo passed away when I was 9 or 10. We didn’t have a lot of time together because she lived in Mexico, but whenever she came to Los Angeles and I got even a little bit of time with her, I felt a kind of love that still stays in my body.
To this day I miss her. If I talk about her too long, I start crying.
So my ideal day would be simple: I’d spend the whole day with her again.
No errands. No rushing. No noise.
Just her presence.
And I’d tell her: we can do anything you want today—absolutely anything—as long as I get to be near you again.
That would be my ideal day.
Question: If you could spend one full day with someone you miss, what would you do?
