I think I am — but not because I’m psychic. I’m a good judge of patterns. People reveal themselves in conversation and in action, especially over time. The way they treat responsibility, the way they handle disagreement, and whether their words match their behavior tells me more than any first impression.
At the same time, I’ve learned to stay humble about it. Trauma is always in the room. Sometimes what looks like attitude is pain. Sometimes what looks like confidence is a mask. So I try to separate what I know from what I’m guessing: I can be certain about what someone repeatedly does, but I don’t always know why they do it.
So yeah — I trust my read, but I don’t rush to judge. I watch. I listen. I let time confirm it.
