What I hope people say about me is simple:
That I became the kind of man who didn’t quit.
When I was younger, I wanted to be an artist, but I always sabotaged myself. Not because I couldn’t do the work—but because I never tried. The moment things got difficult in school, I folded. I’d self-implode before anyone else had the chance to judge me.
Now I do the opposite.
I post.
I show up.
I create.
I try not to stare at low numbers because that old part of me—the one that quits early—feeds off that stuff. Instead, I try to be the man who keeps going, even when it looks like he shouldn’t.
So if there’s one thing I hope people say about me, it’s this:
“He didn’t know when to quit. He kept trying long after the world expected him to stop.”
