Play the ball from where it landed

📓 Tuesday, May 5, 2026 — 7:19 p.m.

Sometimes…

I don’t want to be here.

I’ve said that before.

⸻

I look at my life and think:

I don’t like this.

I don’t like that.

I made bad decisions.

⸻

And then I remember something.

⸻

I can’t restart the game.

⸻

I have to play the ball

from where it landed.

⸻

Accept it.

Don’t sit there complaining forever.

⸻

Ask yourself a question.

Answer it with action.

⸻

Even if the action is small.

Even if you’re tired.

⸻

Because the alternative…

is staying exactly where you are.

⸻

And honestly?

⸻

I’ve done enough of that already.

⸻

💬 Reader question

Have you ever hit a point where acceptance felt harder than the actual problem?
