“I finally listened”

📓 Wednesday, April 8, 2026 — 9:43 p.m.
Since November 17, 2025…

I’ve been weighing in every morning.

No breaks.

Start: 206 lbs

Today: 168.2 lbs

I used to think:

You need to diet.

You need to work out until you can’t.

You need to do more. Push harder.

I haven’t worked out since December.

I’ve been busy.

Work.

Writing.

Drawing.

Saving.

But something changed.

My doctor told me:

“You know how many people I tell to fix their eating habits?

No one listens.”

That stayed with me.

So I did something simple.

I listened.

No soda.

No juice.

No bread.

No tortillas.

No fast food.

No cheating.

And it was easier than I thought.

Since 2016, I used to wake up in the middle of the night.

Almost every other night.

That stopped.

Within days.

So this isn’t a diet to me.

It’s rest.

💬 Reader question

What’s something simple you’ve been told to do… but haven’t actually tried yet?
