7:49 a.m.
Alarm went off again.
Coffee ready.
I started thinking about something.
I graduated from Cal State Long Beach in 2022.
Art degree.
And I didn’t know what I was.
Illustrator?
Animator?
2D?
3D?
Character design?
I was trying to figure it out before I even started.
If I could go back…
I wouldn’t overthink it.
I would just draw.
20–30 minutes a day.
No pressure.
No identity.
Just make something.
Then do it again.
Fix what was wrong.
Push what was weak.
And keep going.
Instead…
I stayed stuck trying to choose the “right path.”
Now I see it differently.
You don’t find your path first.
You build it.

What’s something you didn’t start… because you were trying to do it “right” first?
