A lot of people name their kids after themselves.
You become a junior.
I’ve always hated that.
I don’t know why—it just feels… heavy. Like you’re passing something down that someone didn’t ask for.
So when I think about something being named after me…
I don’t think about a kid.
I think about a movie.
Not a movie about my life.
That sounds boring.
I’d want a movie with a character that has my name—but the story is completely wild, weird, and a little ridiculous.
Something unexpected.
Why?
Because I think life gets taken too seriously sometimes.
Everything becomes about legacy, meaning, purpose…
And I get it.
But I also think there’s something important about being a little silly.
About not turning everything into something heavy.
So if anything had my name on it…
I’d rather it make people laugh than make them feel pressure.
Reader question
If something had your name on it, would you want it to be serious… or something a little unexpected?
