I’ve been a movie fan since I was about five years old.
It started when my dad brought home a VHS player and a few rentals: Chuck Norris action flicks, Charles Bronson classics, and somewhere in the mix—Arnold Schwarzenegger, the greatest action star ever.
I used to watch a lot of movies because I spent most of my time at home as a kid—my asthma attacks kept me indoors. Movies became my escape, my window into the world.
So, to answer the question: my favorite place to go in my city is Cinépolis Luxury Cinema in Inglewood.
Why?
Because I still love that big-screen feeling.
I enjoy watching films on IMAX. The food’s pretty good, and they bring it right to your seat with just a press of a button or an app on your phone.
The recliner chairs are perfect.
And it’s close to home.
It’s one of those places where I still feel like that five-year-old kid again—watching the screen light up and thinking, “Man, movies are magic.”
