“The Risk of Looking Stupid.”

What are you most proud of in your life?

I think the biggest risk I still struggle to take is the risk of being stupid — of doing something wrong, awkward, or embarrassing, and letting it exist anyway.

For most of my life, I wanted to do things right. To look like I had it together. But that’s not living. That’s rehearsing.

At some point, you have to accept that you’ll never feel fully ready, smart, or polished. You’ll say dumb things. You’ll fail publicly. You’ll make mistakes that will echo louder in your head than they do in anyone else’s.

But if you never take that risk — the risk of being bad — you also never find out who you are when you try.

At the end of it all, it doesn’t matter if you looked foolish. What matters is that you moved.
