What have you been putting off doing? Why?
What I’ve been putting off isn’t a task.
It’s the desire to stop putting things off.
There’s a strange comfort in doing nothing—
in sitting still, watching TV, and letting the world spin without you for a bit.
It feels earned, like a sigh after a long week.
But that same comfort can start to turn into quicksand.
Because doing nothing too long starts to eat at you.
And I’ve realized: having things to do—even hard things—means I’m still in motion.
It means life still trusts me with responsibility.
And that’s something to be grateful for.
