August 11, 2026 ā 9:16 p.m.
My eyes are sore from looking at my phone and TV throughout the dayā¦
so Iām writingāor at least trying toāwith my eyes closed.
I had a good day.
Maybe not the greatest day by any human who reads thisā¦
but it was a good day.
I went to get a facial, and the facial was awesomeā¦
but it wasnāt because of the facial.
It was my attendant.
Iād like to call her Mrs. K.
Blonde-haired, blue-eyed, white woman in her early thirtiesā¦
possibly.
Super nice person.
āMy second favorite white person outside of my brother-in-law.ā
I told her.
She laughed.
She has the wildest storiesā¦
and it was cool.
She went to a music concert near a bridge in East LA. She danced on it and said she couldāve diedā¦
but had a great time.
In a week or so, sheāll be going to the Bahamas for a week.
And her father is a funny racistā¦
āThat fly is a buggy cholo.ā
I didnāt mind none of it because we were being ourselves without trying to be offensive.
She asked:
āWhatās new with you?ā
āWellā¦nothing. Iām pretty boring.ā
āWell, you should have fun. Life is shortā¦well, if thatās your thing.ā
I laughed.
Like fun isnāt something Iād like. lol.
So yesā¦
it was fun.
The last movie I cried at was F1 with Brad Pitt. lol.
I knowā¦
a Formula One film.
But that endingā¦
Spoiler.
Thereās a final race, and Bradās character had talked about being in the zone only one time in his lifeā¦
and he had chased thatā¦
but never got there again.
Until the end of this film.
It was relaxing.
There was no soundā¦
just the whoosh of the car.
Everything seemed to slow down.
It caused me to pauseā¦
and begin to think about how beautiful it would be to take a break from lifeā¦
to be so locked in that you leave this reality, even if only for a brief moment.
Because that brief momentā¦
could feel like eternity.
And most importantlyā¦
a blessing.
Enjoy your dayā¦
or night.
