Sitting in the Kindle grayā¦
under an umbrellaās shadeā¦
a light breeze drifting by.
I am consistently tryingā¦
even when something I write isnāt good enough.
Last nightā¦
around midnightā¦
I wrote something and published it.
Wowā¦
it wasnāt that great.
Half asleepā¦
I wrote it anyway.
I almost deleted it.
āEhhā¦ā
That was the feeling.
But I left it.
Itās not about writing something great every single time.
Itās about showing up.
Rockyā¦
my boyā¦
is probably the fictional character I relate to the most.
Iāve been told I was a bum.
Iāve felt like a bum.
And Iāve had to learnā¦
itās okay to feel bad.
Itās just not okay to accept it.
Why not fight back?
Losing happens.
But Iād like to believe that if you fight long enoughā¦
hard enoughā¦
and refuse to give yourself an excuseā¦
maybeā¦
youāll earn an opportunity.
An opportunity to make a dream real.
Or maybe not.
But did you try?
Did you really try?
This cup of coffeeā¦
I raise for those who keep trying.
Good morningā¦
to anyone who has read meā¦
will read meā¦
or simply says,
āEhhā¦ā
after reading me.
Question for the Reader
Whatās one thing you keep doing, even on the days you donāt think youāre very good at it?
