I’m sitting here drinking my coffee.
Blue chair.
Laptop in front of me.
My blue futon next to me—with a ripped shirt thrown over it because my orange furball likes to claim it as his spot.
Morning light coming in.
Just sitting here.
Thinking.
I don’t read much.
But if I had to pick—
I’d be Hutch from Nobody.
Not because he’s some unstoppable badass.
But because he’s a regular guy.
Living a normal life.
Until one day…
he just gets tired of it.
And decides—
“I’m going to be me.”
Now let’s be real…
If I’m him?
I’m probably still getting my ass whooped.
But that’s kind of the point.
Life is going to beat your ass either way.
That part doesn’t change.
So if I’m going to get my ass kicked…
I’d rather go down swinging.
At least land a few hits back.
I once heard someone say:
Life is unfair.
But if you can find one moment where it feels fair—
just one—
then maybe that’s enough.
And maybe that’s what Hutch represents.
Not winning.
Not being perfect.
Just deciding:
“I’m not going to go out quietly.”

When life hits you… do you swing back, or do you stay quiet?

If this hit you… you can stay. I’m building this little by little.
