I’ve never really thought about getting a tattoo.
Right now I’m sitting in front of the TV watching a podcast about UFOs, drinking coffee, half awake — and somehow this question popped up: What tattoo would I get?
Honestly, I’ve never given it much thought before.
But if I had to pick one, I think it would be something about my family.
I imagine a tattoo where my grandmother’s face slowly melts into my mother’s face — almost like one image transforming into the other.
Not perfectly blended.
More like a glitch.
Like the tattoo is shifting between the two generations.
One face becoming the other.
I think that would look powerful on my right arm.
A reminder that we don’t just come from somewhere — we carry pieces of those people forward.
That’s probably the closest thing I’ve ever had to a tattoo idea.
Now I’m going to finish my coffee.
