It’s not one task — it’s the moment when my mind drops into a heavy place and starts talking like the story is already over.
Some days the thought is blunt: “I never get to live the life that I wanted of an artist. I get to live the life I hate.”
When I’m tired and stressed, that line feels true. Like the world moved on without me. Like effort doesn’t matter. Like the business is shifting (plastic to paper), and I’m just stuck trying to keep up.
But I’m learning something: if I hand the steering wheel to that voice, nothing changes.
So my real “to-do” isn’t a task. It’s a rep: do one action anyway. One sale. One sketch. One post. One step. Because action is the only thing that has ever moved my life forward.
Question: What’s one thought that tries to bury you — and what’s one small rep you can do anyway?
