Invent a holiday! Explain how and why everyone should celebrate.
If I could invent a holiday, it’d be called Meow Day.
It’s inspired by my cat, Simba — a little orange furball who used to suffer from depression because he was always locked up inside. So, I bought him a harness — green with constellations on it. When I first tried walking him, he’d flop on the ground and play dead like I shot him. I’d say, “Come on, bro. You can’t just lay there, I’m trying to help you!”
Little by little, it clicked in his little meow brain. Now when I get home, he stares at the door like, “Let’s go, bro.”
So, on Meow Day, everyone would take their cats for a walk. Morning or night, doesn’t matter — just a day for cats to stretch their paws and feel the sun. Picture whole neighborhoods full of cats walking beside their humans, tails up, dogs watching from the sidewalk like, what the hell is happening?
It’d be chaos — and pure joy.
