“I Don’t Go to Ask Anymore”

What’s something most people don’t know about you?

Most people don’t know that I’ve started going to church once or twice a week.

Not for a sermon or a mass — more like a quiet reset.

I used to go to ask for things.

But somewhere along the way, it changed.

It became a place for thanking.

A place to sit in silence for fifteen minutes.

Phone off. Headphones off. Hat off.

Just me and the quiet.

I don’t go to ask anymore.

I just go to say thank you.

And in that stillness, I feel something shift —

like the world exhaling with me.

    1. Thank you, Midou. I’m glad it spoke to you.
Sometimes fifteen minutes of silence can say more than a whole day of noise.
